Retrofit vs full-frame
Most window replacements are retrofit installations — the new window slides into the existing frame opening with minimal disruption to interior trim and exterior siding. When the existing frame is rotted, warped, or you want to change the size of the opening, we do a full-frame replacement instead, which gives us a clean slate for new flashing, insulation, and trim.
Energy efficiency and rebates
We only install Title 24–compliant products for California climate zones. Many of our window options also qualify for the federal 25C tax credit (up to $600 per year for ENERGY STAR–certified windows). We point out which options are eligible during the quote so you can factor savings into your decision.
